From AI-powered enhancements to launching around 17 completely new features and optimizing another 15+ existing ones, this year was packed with progress.
All of this happened because of drive for innovation and continuous improvement of our PIM (Product Information Management) system, ensuring that Pimics (the only PIM system built directly into Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central) remains a suitable tool for delivering the best possible results for our customers.

During 2025, AI had certainly stopped being a buzzword and had become a major topic and an essential part of companies' operations. We believe in the power of AI capabilities in day-to-day work, we have recognised its potential for managing product data and that is why we came up with 4 AI-powered functionalities that are already delivering impactful value to our clients. Let’s explore them one by one.
1. AI-Generated‑ Marketing Texts & Product Descriptions
Creating great and pouchy text is essential for selling products online, but all our clients know that writing that on their own and sometimes from scratch… takes a lot of time! But thanks to this feature, they can
generate rich texts and descriptions directly from the PIM item card.
Moreover, they oversee how the description should look like – including the product features/ product category / or simply upload a picture of the product and AI generates text according to the visuals.
2. AI-Generated Structured Data Suggestions
When product information is missing, customers are losing trust. That is why we came up with this feature! AI simply analyses existing product data and based on previous standards or product category –
suggests structured attributes.
In result our clients gain complete, enriched data without any typing errors!
3. Smart-AI PDF Data Import
There's no need for copy-pasting or manually rewriting data from suppliers' PDFs, (which usually come in different formats and structures). Instead, our clients
simply upload the PDF and AI will take care of the rest. Thanks to this feature, handling product information doesn't have to be slow and frustrating anymore!
4. Built-in AI translation
Expanding into new markets and transcribing content shouldn't take ages. That's why our clients can instantly translate rich texts without leaving the Pimics environment using DeepL, one of the smartest models available today!

+ Improved Sana Commerce add-on
We believe that product data should live in the ERP – not next to it. With this update we enhanced the integration between Pimics and Sana Commerce, delivering a more reliable and efficient experience when managing product data across platforms.
Our clients can benefit from faster data synchronization and better flow between ERP and PIM, with improved performance of digital commerce capabilities and security.
+ PIM History - Show data as PIM Item Card
This feature improves the usability of the PIM History module by enabling users to view historical data in a format that is consistent with the PIM Item Card. Providing a structured view of historical records in one place, including product features and description texts, improves data traceability and enables users to return to the historical data easily.
+ SharePoint Synchronization: Select folder within library
When we talk about data quality and content completeness, we also mean all the digital assets that need to be organised. This new feature enables Pimics users to synchronise specific folders within a SharePoint library, supporting better organisation and more targeted data management.
What is more than innovation?

Innovation doesn’t stop with new features alone… We continuously gather valuable inputs not only from our team members but also from the direct feedback of our clients — which plays a crucial role in shaping our product.
Throughout 2025, this collaborative approach led us to optimize and improve more than 15 existing features, including improving the handling of ETIM classifications by clearly separating groups and classes or the Shopify Menu Sync.
Business Central has had its own Shopify connector since 2025, enabling the transfer of basic product information. With Pimics, you can transfer additional information, such as values, texts and digital assets. However, thanks to this optimisation, you can now synchronise also entire categories and products, including multi-level structures, all at once!

And what happened at Pimics beyond product development?
We were continuously learning and exploring new ideas through many key networking events. We showed up and actively participated at Directions EMEA, Companial Connect, or DYNAfair. These events allowed us to stay closely connected with the whole Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central community, innovators, our partners, and customers. This connection is incredibly important to us, and we can clearly see its impact reflected in the 73% expansion of our partner network. Thanks to this growth, we’ve increased our reach across new markets, and we were able to also grow our customer base by 52%, including welcoming our first customer from Canada! Very exciting times!
And beyond the business part, we also made sure to have fun!
We spent quality time together as a team, organizing more than 10 company activities, including summer and winter team buildings, trainings, and AI workshops.
We also grew our team by 45%, including Simba — 75 kilos of fur and love in the form of a Bernese Mountain Dog as our official Happiness Manager. Thanks to him, even ordinary days at the office are much more fun and an extra pair of paws is always useful when you need to catch up with work, right? 😊
